During the autumn of 2022, our team embarked on an extensive journey in the quaint rural town of John Day, Oregon, engaging in numerous interviews with its residents. Our purpose was clear: to unearth hidden treasures in the form of captivating tales, brimming with the essence of skilled storytelling. This immersive endeavor culminated in the creation of "The Lore of John Day," an enchanting children's book (if we may humbly say so ourselves) that beautifully weaves together nine vibrant stories. Each story unravels against the backdrop of John Day and its surroundings, spanning significant historical moments from the town's inception to the vibrant era of the 1970s.

Through our carefully penned narratives, a diverse cast of characters and a wide range of topics come to life, capturing the imagination of readers young and old.
